Name: Emma Taggart

Business: Introvert Coach

Website: https://www.emmataggart.co.uk/

Problem: Fully booked with 1:1 clients but working 40+ hours per week. Business was good but it wasn’t sustainable.

Result: Learned how to generate consistent leads, consistent income and now only works 25 hours per week.

“I came into Amplify wanting more time and energy and I absolutely got that and so much more.

What I got was an end to end system - how to create, market and sell my programme, along with principles and techniques that I can now apply to any part of my business.”

Before working with Gemma…

Business was pretty good, I was fully booked with 1-1 clients but I was absolutely knackered. I realised that if I wanted to keep showing up for my clients, I needed to not be doing so much facetime.

Perimenopause was hitting me and massively impacted my energy and I needed a different way to run my business. It felt unsustainable. I needed a model that freed up my time.

I was drawn to the evergreen model because the idea of getting into constant launch cycles was exhausting.

My hesitations were…

My biggest hesitation was the money. There’s always lots of things you could invest in when you run a business but there’s always hesitations like “will this work?”, “is it for me?”.

Emma’s Key Points

  • I was doing 40+ hours a week before creating my group programme, and I didn’t really have a clue what exactly I needed to be doing to generate leads. I’ve now learned what I actually need to be doing and I’m now working a 25 hour week.

  • Amplify taught me to generate consistent leads, consistent income and I’m making more than I was making before (which was an added bonus).

  • A big shift for me was tightening up my messaging. Gemma really helped me pinpoint who I’m working with and pushed me to tighten up the language to really connect with what people wanted. I’ve noticed the difference in replies to my emails and the number of leads.

  • I never had an email welcome sequence before joining Amplify, but with Gemma’s help I’ve created an automated welcome sequence which speaks to my ideal clients without me really doing anything. Leads are regularly popping into my inbox.

  • I increased my conversion rate to almost 100% by following Gemma’s system of doing 15 minute calls before going on to a longer call.

  • I got my group programme up and running pretty quickly with six people enrolled straight away. I now have the evergreen cycle going and it feels very relaxing and easy.

  • I could’ve done Amplify in the 9 months that it runs for, but I decided to stay in for another 9 months beyond that. The benefit of that is that I’ve not only had access to Gemma but also the solidarity of the community of people who are self-employed and who do get it. Others in the group were a little bit further ahead in business than I was which was great as I was able to learn so much. Everyone’s super supportive and helpful.

  • I came into Amplify wanting more time and energy and I absolutely got that and more. What I got was an end to end system - how to create, market and sell my programme, along with principles and techniques that I can now apply to any part of my business.

What are you looking forward to next?

I’m mainly excited that I’ve got that confidence that I know what I’m doing, and that I have the marketing and business skills to do what I want in business. I’m excited to keep tweaking and consolidating my programme, and keep getting better. I’m also looking forward to enjoy time for things outside of work.

Who would you recommend Amplify to?

Anyone who’s been in business for a while, you know you’ve got a good offer and you want to switch to a one to many method.

What should others know about Gemma?

It almost feels like magic what Gemma has shown me in terms of how to streamline and automate things.

She’s taken me from being caught up in perfectionism to being more experimental, look at the data and then make decisions based on that.
